Whilst this home was in a lovely treed street and conveniently located, the dated previous renovations had resulted in cramped, dark living areas with little space for growing teenagers, family and friends to comfortably live and entertain in. The owners had been contemplating building an extension to their home for the past 7 years, without much success. They had appointed an architect; however, the design did not meet their brief. The main obstacle was their budget, which required clever thinking and design to achieve their requirements. This is now a beautiful, functional welcoming home. The first floor extension now accommodates 2 teenagers, with their own living area with city views.
